Indians, who are planning to buy an expensive cellphone(price more than a mid-range laptop) in a fortnight or so, but have no problem with waiting a couple of fortnights more; do better wait; as Bharti Airtel Ltd. expects to launch Apple Inc.'s iPhone 4 in India either in September or October, the company's chief executive said recently.
Earlier June, Vodafone Essar Ltd., the local unit of the U.K.'s Vodafone Group Plc., also said it plans to launch the iPhone 4 in India. However, it didn't mention a timeframe.
But since, the only other provider, Bharti Airtel, has given indication of September or October launch; one can be sure Apple iPhone 4 is coming to India, utmost, by this Diwali. --------
