Micromax, an India based company, has launched Pike X510 phone. From looks, the phone looks like Samsung Corby.
Specs:
1) 2.8inch Full touch screen display which has a 240×400 resolution
2) A 2 MP camera
3) A music player and FM radio, with a 3.5 mm jack
4) 16 GB SD card ( external memory through an SD slot)
5) Connectivity options include WiFi and Bluetooth
6) Has built in Opera Mini browser
Price: Micromax Pike X510 will cost Rupees 5499
A music player underlined as great, with a 16 GB expandable storage and 3.5 mm jack; points that Micromax has built the phone keeping in mind the music lovers. Going by the specs and the pricing the phone will primarily be a music phone, something like scaled down Nokia Xpress Music 5230 (then why not go for much dependable Nokia 5230 with excellent audio and only slightly higher price); so don't get swayed by other features which try to convince a user that it's a smartphone.Even Samsung Corby, which was pitched as a phone made for connectivity (surfing web)doesn't well on the said promise; so this look alike should only be taken as a music phone.
