Sprint just announced the LG Optimus S, a phone running on Android 2.2 or Froyo, and that will make use of Sprint ID. Sprint ID is described as a “user friendly way to customize his/her Android device”. An LG Optimus S user will be able to download a Sprint ID pack that offers a predefined user experience including apps, widgets, ringtones and wallpapers.
