Blackberry Facebook App Version 1.9.0.20 is released on the BlackBerry App World. The latest version can be installed on all BlackBerry handsets offering software of version 4.5 or higher.
The latest feature in the updated version of Facebook is the- `Places' - i. e., a location-based service similar to that of FourSquare.
The feature enables a Blackberry user to easily keep a track of their friends and peers within a 2-kilometre radius of his/her current location. The friends on the Facebook will also be getting the location of the user in the same time. Appears like a sort of arrangement between Facebook and Blackberry (reveal something to you; you reveal something to me).
Other capabilities include, comment or like their friends at various places with the aid of a Facebook Places icon on the top bar.
