iOS 4.2 available now --Brings Multitasking to iPad

The new version of Apple’s mobile platform, iOS 4.2, is available today for the iPad, iPhone & iPod touch.

iOS 4.2 not only brings over 100 new features from the last three version of iOS to that device, but most importantly brings Multitasking. The feature allows users to multi task i.e. keep several apps open at the same time and switch between them as and when required.

1) App folders

2) Unified inbox

3) Integration with the gaming social network Game Center

4) AirPlay: the ability to stream music, photos and video to Apple TV (Streaming is where Apple is heading to, Remember the Apple’s one billion dollar data center is under construction; will be ready in next few months)



5) AirPrint: enabling users to wirelessly print out content to AirPrint-enabled printers including the HP Photosmart, HP LaserJet Pro and HP Officejet. --------
