According to research group NPD, ahead of the US festive season, the US video game industry is seeing a grim patch.
The Sales of video game equipment and software in the US fell 7.6 percent in November to $2.7 billion.
--The Hardware sales fell 13.4 percent.
--While the software sales dropped 3.1 percent.
[Note: November sales include the Black Friday post-Thanksgiving weekend, the traditional kickoff to the annual holiday shopping spree.]
