Google Body: Still Not launched 3D medical browser that will delight doctors and hypochondriacs alike

As if not content with its ompresence in our neighborhoods with Street View, Google has now developed a new browser that maps out the entire human body.

Called Google Body Browser, the hi-tech 3D application has been hailed as a breakthrough in the study of anatomy. Something that could revolutionize our understanding of the human body and even fast-track medical research.

About Google Body:

The gadget, yet to be officially launched, lets a person explore the human body in much the same way he/she navigates the world using Google Earth. A dream come true sort of for hypochondriacs who constantly remain in search of ailments that might be ailing them.

To what extent Google Body explores the Human Body:

With Google Body Browser, Google is introducing a brand new internet technology called
WebGL, that will allow complex 3D graphics to be used on normal web pages, without the need for specially adapted browser plug-ins like Flash or Java. This technology is also dubbed as Web3D. WebGL is expected to become standard in new versions of most internet browsers, including Firefox, to be released next year.

Compatibility: Ahead of its official unveiling Google has released a version available on WebGL-supported browsers or beta versions of Firefox and Google Chrome, which can be downloaded from the Google Body Browser site (http://bodybrowser.googlelabs.com). --------
