Outgoing Google CEO Invests In Twitter Payments Service

Knowing what the outgoing Google CEO Eric Schmidt considers a good tech investment will give valuable cues to those who want to invest in Tech. That’s why this post.

According to Business Insider, Schmidt’s company, Tomorrow Ventures, has invested in Twitpay – a company which is developing a platform for users to send money directly via Twitter. The companies have not disclosed the size of investment though.

About TwitPay:

Twitpay started as a service which used to leverage Amazon Payments to let Twitter users send money to one another. In 2010, the company narrowed its focus to charitable giving. Now, Twitpay's R2TGive service helps charities collect payments via Twitter.

The company plans to expand in future towards a Twitter payment platforms for online games and general e-commerce as well and is currently working on it. --------
