Launching the original iPad ten months after its US launch; and rolling out the next iteration just two months later in US; has definitely disappointed original iPad buyers in India. And they have every right to feel cheated for being treated as a dumping ground.
But things will be different with the iPad2. Although those Indians who have already bought the original iPad, will be spending the money the second time, to lay their hands on the iPad2.
According to a senior manager at a leading Apple partner in India, on informal enquiries, that the company is working on a launch date to be announced in just two weeks. This means that, although India is not featuring in the list of the other countries, that are going to have iPad2 on March 25, Apple may launch the iPad 2 in India in just about a couple of weeks, may be in April.
