New Nokia E7 Business smart phone launched in India

Nokia today launched in India its much talked about smartphone – the Nokia E7.

The touch-n-type smart phone, which comes with a four-inch or 10 cms touchscreen display and a slide-out four-row QWERTY keyboard; is primarily targeted at professionals and those consumers who want to see their phone more like a PC.

What Nokia E7 has that can lure Business professionals and phone enthusiasts?

The new E7, which runs on Symbian operating system, first of all boasts of a wide 10cm touchscreen that slides sideways and tilts for better viewing pleasure. The phone will come pre-installed with business apps that would be supported by the company's new business partners, giant tech firms Microsoft Corporation and IBM.

The buyers will be served by E7's ability to direct real-time access to email accounts, with more robust security features. The phone supports opening and reading Microsoft Office documents along with creating and editing new documents and mailing them on the go.
That apart, Users should also find useful the phone's numerous business tools such as calendars, contacts and tasks, which have been integrated through Microsoft Exchange servers and Office Communicator Mobile.

To attract the non-business users, E7 provides the capability to capture and edit HD images and videos, with its 8 megapixel camera that comes equipped with dual LED flash. That apart the phone offers easy connectivity and file sharing with its HDMI port, USB on-the-go features too.

Taking care of the heavy storage requirements of the targeted users, E7 has on-board 16GB of flash memory that were all designed to enhance the gadget's social networking and business functions.

E7 will come with a range of applications including adobe PDF reader, world traveller app, anti-theft software for mobile and Nokia Ovi maps with GPS navigation.



Price:The phone is priced at Rs.29,999. To make the early buyers happy, the company has tied up with telecom service provider Vodafone to offer 2GB of data per month free for six months, as a special offer. --------
