Vonage launches Android app to save you money on international calling

Vonage has launched its Extensions app for free long-distance calling for Android.

Thus from now on you can make long distance calls via your Android phone.

To use the new app, the user has just to download the app, and login to their existing Vonage VoIP service from a Google-android powered phone.

A good thing for those who have to call their loved ones outside their putting up country, as the app definitely saves them much money. But there’s a catch here. The app requires a VoIP international calling plan before a user starts calling abroad (it’s no obstacle ride, if the caller is an existing voyage user). In addition, the pricing of a call is subject to user’s existing calling plan. Plus it doesn't support messaging like Fring and Viber.
