Samsung today announced the launch of its three smartphones in India –one among them is Samsung Galaxy Y, a budget smartphone. Other two are Samsung Omnia W and Samsung Wave 3.
Samsung Galaxy Y specs:
1) A 3 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen (display much smaller than phones of the same price range)
2) Runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread
3) Powered by 832 MHz processor
4) 560 MB internal storage, extendable upto 32 GB via MicroSD card
5) Has a 2 megapixel rear camera without flash
6) 3G phone
7) Connectivity options include: WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm jack, USB 2.0
8) Includes A-GPS
9) Has a 1200 mAh battery
10) Has FM radio.
Price: Sasung Galaxy Y, which has the OS and the processor far superior than any other phone priced in this range, will retail in India at Rs. 7,830.
