Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 Launched In India with a 31k Price tag

After Galaxy Tab 750 (also called Galaxy Tab 10.1), Samsung has now launched Galaxy Tab 730 (also called Galaxy Tab 8.9 unveiled in August this year) in India.

Like Galaxy Tab 750, the latest tablet also runs on the Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) operating system.

Specs and info: Galaxy Tab 730 has an 8.9inch TFT (1280×800) Plane to Line Switching (PLS) display screen runs on the Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS (with Samsung’s TouchWiz 4.0 user interface). It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, has 1GB of RAM and the internal memory of the device is 16GB. There is a 3 mega pixel auto focus rear camera capable of recording high definition videos (720p) at 30 frames per second.

A 2 mega pixel front facing camera is provided for video chat.

On the connectivity front, the Tablet has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G and it also comes with a USB 2.0 port. The Tablet comes with pre-installed Google apps, supports Flash 10.1 and comes with 3D surround sound.

The tablet is powered by a 6100mAh battery claimed to provide up to 1,750 (2G) and 1,480 (3G) hours of stand-by time.

The tablet is 453 grams in weight and has over all dimensions as 230.9mm x 157.8mm x 8.6mm.

Price of Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 in India: The Galaxy Tab 730 is available in pure white and soft black colors; at a Price tag of around Rs 31000. The best buy price is Rs 32,500; while Flipkart are offering the Tablet at Rs 30,900 (Rs 1,600 cheaper). --------
