Nokia Lumia 800 and 710 launched in India: First true Windows Phone 7 devices

At the Nokia World 2011 conference in London last month, Nokia unveiled 2 new smartphones with Windows operating system platforms branded as 'Lumia 800' and 'Lumia 710' priced at 420 euro (about Rs 29,000) and 270 euro (about Rs 19,000) respectively. Nokia has launched the two smartphones in India today.

Pegged as the “first true Windows Phone 7 devices”, the Nokia Lumia 800 and 710, which will hit the store shelves by mid-December, are expected to sell at $580 (INR 29000) for the Lumia 800 and $380(INR 19000) for the Lumia 710.

Both devices will run on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system.
