In London yesterday, Samsung unveiled its most advanced phone yet (seen as a iPhone5 rival), the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Summary:
1) Galaxy S3, which runs on Android 4.0 or ICS, is the follow-up to the Galaxy S2, the best-selling Android handset and the only smartphone to rival the iPhone in sales.
2) Galaxy S3 is probably the most high profile of a small number of devices that qualify as "Superphones – Smartphones with quad-core processors based on advanced ARM architecture”. The quad core processor enables advanced graphics and more sophisticated apps. Samsung Galaxy S3 has Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 processor. The others so far on the market include the HTC One X and LG Optimus 2X.
3) Galaxy S3 brings voice recognition, called S Voice, to rival Apple’s Siri.
4) It has a micro SD card slot to extend the storage by another 64 GB. Plus there’s 50GB of online storage through a partnership with Dropbox.
5) An 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP Front camera
6) It is reported to have 13 Hours of Battery Life.
