Don’t gasp for the
breath. It is reality the Facebook Page can reveal your personality. Most of
the secrets you have unveiled on the Facebook page and rest the post that you
add describe the kind of personality you are.
According to the
researchers of University of Missiouri has unveiled the fact that people’s
personality can be adjudged based on how they use social media site. The scale
suggests those who like adventurous or high risk activities tend to update their
status or upload photos and interact with their friends on a regular basis,
while those who are reserved tend to scroll up the pages for a news feed.
Missuri doctoral
student Heather Shoenberger developed this new scale after surveying people
about their usage of Facebook. Those who
were reserved were labeled as risk aversive. Both the personality use Facebook
on equal levels, but there is a difference on how they use the social media
site.
If you primarily lean
towards high risk activities, you’re more likely to engage with friends on a
frequent basis, whereas those who are aversive enjoy predictable social media
experience. This scale can be used by online advertisers to target their
clients. The study has been recently presented in International Association
Conference in Phoenix.
