Karbonn Mobiles has launched another Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based smartphone, the 'Karbonn Smart A18'.

The new Karbonn A18 is pitted against the same price ranged and invariably same specs devices from Micromax and iBall namely Micromax Superfone A90, which also features a 4.3-inch display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and 1GHz processor; and iBall Andi 5c, which has dual-SIM, Android 4.0.3 ICS and 1GHz processor. Both carry about Rs 1300p price tag as well.
Karbonn of late has been bullish on Android devices. the company has recently launched a Jelly Bean Smart Tab tablet, and a number of A-series smartphones namely A9, A7 and A5. A new Jelly Bean based smartphone is on the cards later this year.
