Garmin-Asus combine has launched Nuvifone A10, an Android powered phone, in India. A10 is Garmin-Asus’s first Android powered Navigation smartphone to be launched in India.

2) runs on Android 2.1, but is upgradable to Android 2.2 or Froyo
3) Being a navigation oriented smartphone(comes from its Garmin nexus), Nuvifone A10 offers support for multiple navigation modes like Professional Pedestrian Navigation and In-car Navigation etc. A10 has navigation capabilities equivalent to Garmin’s premium automotive navigation devices like enabling users to interconnect instantly with other users with unique features like “Geotagging”. In Geotagging, a geotagged photo can be sent to other user who can then initiate navigation to the location by simply clicking on it. The phone is equipped with Connected Services like Ciao, Flight Status, Currency convertor and Weather Updates.
