Apple next iPhones: 4.7, 5.7-Inch Screens, plus a Cheaper Model Coming In Fall

According to leading tech blog, quoting Reuters Sources, Apple may make various changes to its iPhone lineup over the course of the next year. This includes two sizes of larger smartphone devices, in both a 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch category (or Phablets or iOS Phablets). Thus the phablet trend popularized by Samsung, with its Galaxy Note, is indeed real. The display sizes as mentioned above, will be a big jump for Apple, whose iPhone 5 at 4 inches lags behind even non-phablet devices like the HTC One and Galaxy S4.

In addition to bigger iPhones, Apple is also planning a less expensive iPhone model, with multi colour options plastic backs and 4 inch display as iPhone 5, which is slated to begin production next month, so that it's ready for the September launch. The initial shipment batch of the cheaper iPhone will be around 20 million low-cost devices for the holiday quarter next year. Reuters adds that it should cost around $99 when it launches.
