Then there’s good news for you. Sony has just announced the launch of a dedicated Qriocity app for Android smartphones. The app is available on Android Market.
Officially named "Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity", the app allows subscribers to fully access Sony's cloud-based streaming music service. Notably, Qriocity catalogue currently has over seven million licensed songs from major record labels including Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and EMI Music.
Other offerings of the Qriocity app for Android are:
Enables subscribers to access their full music library, synchronise songs from their PC, and play them on a compatible Android phone.
Compatibility: The app works on smartphones running Android 2.1 or higher, but not on Android 3.0 "Honeycomb" tablet devices. Ya the app will be compatible with Android Tablets. Best experience can be had on Android phones with a screen resolution of 480x854, 480x800 or 320x480 pixels. Sony has specifically tested the app on Sony Ericsson's latest Android-based mobile phones, like theXPERIA Arc, XPERIA Play, XPERIA X10, XPERIA X8 and the XPERIA Neo. But the app will run on other android phones as well. If they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
