Samsung yesterday launched the Samsung Galaxy S Plus smartphone in India. The smartphone is a an upgraded version of its widely popular Samsung Galaxy S model.

Samsung Galaxy S Plus Specs: The Samsung Galaxy S Plus is Powered by a 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor, weighs 119 grams and measures 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9mm. The phone has a 16M Color SUPER AMOLED Full-Touch , 4 inch Display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

Running on Android 2.3 or Gingerbread Operating System, the Galaxy S Plus has a 5 MP Auto Focus Camera with features which include geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection. The phone also has affront facing VGA Camera for video calls.

The phone has 16GB of internal memory, with 512MB ROM and 512MB RAM. The internal storage can be extended further via a microSD card slot, expandable up to 32GB.

The battery offers a standard talk time of up to 17.3 hours (2G), 7.8 hours(3G), and standard standby time of up to 430 hours- 480 hours.

HTC Titan coming to India after Diwali
Prospective smartphone users in India, who can delay their smartphone purchase post Diwali, can get one more choice. As HTC's Windows Phone 7.5 or Mango operating system smartphone is going to be launched in India in November.

HTC Titan Specs:
