Microsoft finalized a deal with Netflix to incorporate its streaming movie service to Windows Media Center, this Tuesday.
Netflix's collection of 12,000+ "Watch it Now" movies and TV episodes will be available to the users of Windows Vista Home Premium or Ultimate version. Currently Windows XP users will not be able use the service.
Windows Media Center owners will be able to search the whole Netflix library, manage their DVD queues and filter searches by movie titles that are available to be watched instantly.
To be able to access Netflix's service, Windows Media Center owners will have to subscribe to its rental service first. To watch movies they can start Window Media Center on their computers by selecting the new Netflix tile under TV+Movies heading.
