According to a report,
One in every three internet users in UK does not shop online.
Those who don’t shop online cite the following reasons:
Lack of Trust____________________________30 percent
Fears over personal security________________20 percent
Don’t trust companies that sell online_______15 percent
Those who shop online have their concerns too:
Have definite concerns about doing so___________________72 percent
Only slightly aware of their online consumer rights_________38 percent
But there is definite optimism:
Compared to 26 percent in 2006, now 54 percent feel shopping online equivalent to shopping in a store. That’s they found the two activities equally safe.
Compared to 2006 the optimism has seen a 108 percent growth.
