Average time US internet users spent on Social networks in Sep 2009

Although MySpace has lost almost fifty percent of its market share in US, when it comes to the time users spend on any social network; MySpace is still at the top.

The social network users spend the most time on, averaging almost 26 minutes in Sep 2009, is MySpace.
However, there is a 12 percent drop from 2008, on this count as well.

In comparison, the average time spent by a user at Facebook is 23 mins in Sep 2009. But of all the Social networks, Facebook had the most growth for this statistic. A 23 percent rise.

For Tagged the user time spent stat has increased too, in Sep 2008, it was 23 mins, now it’s 25 mins. A rise of 8 percent.

The Social network showing the highest decline in the average time spent is twitter. Compared to Sep 2008, it has seen a decline of 56 percent.
