Google to produce, sell Nexus One phone itself

Google Inc plans to produce and sell Nexus One Cell Phone, directly to the customers as soon as next year. The phone will run on Google’s android operating system.

Up to now smartphone maker HTC is making the phone.

Google will be buying the required cellular service separately. --------
