Amidst stretched budgets this festive season, US shoppers are heading to those shopping destination which are giving the best deals.
As a result, Agent sites (authorized online dealers that sell phones/services from multiple providers), are emerging as destinations for the hottest cell phones.
Some of the notable agent sites ( who have put extra emphasis on cell phones this festive season) are amazon, Cellstores, Letstalk, RadioShack, Walmart, Wirefly.
Consider these numbers:
--Total traffic to Agent sites increased 39% Year-On-Year (Compared to same quarter previous year) and 4% Quarter-On-Quarter (Compared to the previous quarter).
-- The traffic to wireless portions of Amazon.com and Walmart.com showed double-digit increases both Q-O-Q and Y-O-Y.
