Galaxy Tab Headed to India for October Launch

Samsung Galaxy Tab is reaching Europe later this month. When the tablet is up for an American release is still unknown.

But this story says that the Tab will is heading to India where it may be available in October at a price of Rs 30,000 to 40,000 (approx. $642-$857).

Notably, the Galaxy S phone costs about 30,000 INR in the country; so overall the Galaxy Tab still seems quite expensive. But word is that through subsidies with carrier launches the Tab will be available around $200 or $300. --------
