Research in Motion or RIM has launched a new blog, named, Inside Blackberry for Business, with a focus on enterprise mobility challenges.
What Inside Blackberry for Business, offers to business users and decision makers:
RIM will share events information, research and product news—all specifically from a business perspective. Like "What mobile solutions are business users exploring and how are they implementing them? How are mobile technologies impacting their organization/staff? How can BlackBerry smartphones help drive their business forward? Etc.
This blog is among other attempts by Blackberry to prevent its iconic presence as a business phone dilute; and prevent its business phone users to stray away to Apple and android phones. In August, RIM launched the BlackBerry Torch 9800, a breakthrough device for the company, in that it's the first to combine a dedicated RIM keypad with a multi-touch display, as well as the first to run the BlackBerry 6 operating system.But compared to Apple iPhone 4 whose 1.7 million iPhone 4 units in just three days; Blackberry Torch early sales were quite slow, with first-weekend sales estimated at 150,000 units.
