Apple has launched the FaceTime Beta for Mac (would be available for download later today.), at “Back to the Mac” event in California. FaceTime, the video chat application, was previously only available to owners of the 4G iPhone.
The Mac application has a simplistic style; something those who wanted more features to make the application more customizable; do not like. Among key features is one which allows a user switch from landscape to portrait mode and automatically adjust the other user’s screen. That includes muting oneself to the other person.
