Panasonic has just unveiled a new Viera television, the Viera G3.
The 42-inch Viera G3 allows users to record to removable media—providing an SD slot and USB port, to serve as a potential destination for live video recording in HD or SD resolutions. Users can record 5 to 8 hours (2 to 4 movies) of 1080p recording on a 64GB SDXC card.
Other features: Full LED backlighting, VIERA Link support, and support for AVCHD content from video cameras.
Price And Availability: Viera G3 is expected to launch in February for 150,000 yen (~$1,787 USD). No word yet on whether Viera G3 will be launched in US market at the same time as the Japanese launch.
