Bing’s Principal Scientist lured by Twitter

Alek Kołcz, Principal Scientist at Microsoft's search engine Bing, has left Microsoft and joined Twitter this week.

He has been mentioned in the list of staff members on the Twitter website.

The company has not said anything in this regard yet.

Kołcz was with Microsoft for five years now, after leaving AOL where he was a system architect. Many of his AOL friends are already in twitter from the Summize acquisition of 2008.

According to LinkedIn, Kołcz will be the 8th former Microsoft employee at Twitter, which has 362 people. --------
