Want to see a kinect hack for a techno dance party? Matt Davis has used kinect, using its camera-based motion detection, combined with Ableton Live, DMX protocol, and clever hackery to create a one-man electro-laser light show. As the camera is programmed to follow just one guy, the hack is not for a room packed with overexcited party-ers, but some bright brain can still take some idea to make the implementation more social.
