According to a report, Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC is planning to roll out six to eight new smartphones in the third quarter this year. All these will be middle or high-end models.
Notably, HTC is upbeat regarding its smartphones, and reported smartphone sales of 12.11 million units in Q2. This is 25 percent more than the smartphones in the previous quarter.
The smartphone maker expects an even better Q3, with 13.5 million smartphone units sale.
