Hrithik Roshan unveils new iBall Slide Android tablet in India

iBall, a computer peripherals maker, has launched its first Android tablet in the Indian market. Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has been roped in as brand ambassador for the new tablet.

Named ‘iBall Slide’, the tablet has the following specs:

1) Has a 7-inch capacitive multi-touch display
2) Powered by 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor
3) Runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System
4) 8GB built-in memory, extendable up to 32GB externally via a microSD card.
5) Has a 2 megapixel front camera, for video chat.
6) Connectivity options include, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G (via Dongle, not built-in), USB host and HDMI output.
7) A 4400 mAh battery, which offers up to 6.5 hours of music play and up to 5 hours of video play.



Price: iBall Slide will retail at Rs 13,995 (or Rs 14000 approx.).

With the launch, iball Slide has pitched itself against similarly priced and specification android tablets like RCom’s 3G tablet (Rs 12999), Beetel Magiq(Rs 9,999), and Mercury mTab(Rs 9,499).
