Toshiba’s first ultrabook, a laptop that slim and light has been launched. Named the Portégé Z830 Series , the laptop series has a thin 15.9 mm magnesium alloy casing and weighs just 2.5 pounds or 1000 grams. The laptop has a very handy backlit and spill Resistant Keyboard, yet it has a tiny 0.63 inch profile. The laptop will definitely lure many.
Portégé Z830 Series specs:
1) Has a 13.3 inch wide screen high definition LED back lit Display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels
2) A built-in 1.3 mega pixel web camera
3) The use has three choices with regard to the processor -- the 2nd gen Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors
4) Operating System offers two choices too -- Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional operating system

5) Up to 6 GB of RAM memory.
6) 128 GB Solid State Drive (SSD).
7) Connectivity options include: 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, USB 3.0 port, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, two USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet jack, VGA output and an SD card slot.
8) 47Whr battery that’s claimed to provide up to 8 hours of operation.
Price & Availability: The Toshiba Portégé Z830 Series Ultrabook is expected to be available around November 2011 , with a starting price tag believed to be under $1,000.
On the same event, Toshiba also launched Toshiba AT200 Tablet, an Android 3.2 or Honeycomb tablet, which the company said is again, world's thinnest and lightest ultra-thin Tablet. Check out the launch video:
