Based on the statcounter report, the Global browser standings as of June 2009 are as under:


Microsoft browser(IE6, IE7 and IE8)___________________59.5 percent
Decline in market share vs July 2008.

Mozilla Firefox_______________________________________30.4 percent
In July 2008 Mozilla had a  gained 25.9 percentage points.A seventeen percent growth.

Opera_____________________________3.27 percent
Back in July 2008 Opera share was 3.1 percent. A Five percent growth.

Apple's Safari_______________________2.94 percent
Safari’s share in July 2008 was 3.1 percent.A Five percent decline.

Google Chrome_____________________2.83 percent
Launched in September 2008, the marker share of Chrome in Feb 2009 was 1.4 percent. Doubled its share since Feb. --------
