Even though online video viewer ship continues to make double digit growth ((online viewership is up 35 percent this year vs. 2008)); traditional TV is still the place most videos are being watched.

According to a Neilsen study, 99 percent of all video content viewing in US, is still being done on a traditional television, broadcast via cable, satellite, or good old-fashioned airwaves.

Just to have a better perspective, The average user watches 31 hours or 1860 mins of TV each week. This viewing time is shared among different modes in the following manner:

DVR______________2 percent of total viewing or 37 mins
Online Videos_______ 1 percent or 22 minutes
Mobile video________0.16 percent or 3 minutes
