Launched In April 2010, iAd, Apple’s own advertising network, which sells and hosts ads on the iPhone platform, has already reeled in $60 million worth of commitments for mobile ads for Apple.
Apple had purchased mobile ad company Quattro Wireless in January, to boost iAd platform, after being outbid by Google for AdMob.
