At IBC 2010 Capablue launched ‘Connected’ IPTV, the online video platform developed in partnership with TV Genius and Brightcove. STV is expected to be the first broadcast client for the platform, which will enable the development and deployment of on-demand content for internet-connected devices.
The demand for VoD (Video on Demand) solutions on multiple platforms is increasing but the process of building systems is expensive and time consuming. Connected simply integrates with a user’s own platform and it’s ready to go, according to company CEO.
Connected supports UK and European connected TV platforms such as Samsung, Sony, Yahoo!, Canvas and HbbTV.
