Gigabyte, the makers of most important pieces of PC hardware, with sizeable achievements in the mainboard and video card markets, catering to market from High to Low priced ones, has today announced that it is going to launch a new NVIDIA video card, NVIDIA GTX 580, into the market.

With the new card, NVIDIA lays claim to the title of world's fastest DirectX 11 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). The new card is part number GV-N580D5-15I-B and naturally has the GTX 580 GPU onboard with GDDR5 RAM. This is the same new video card that uses the NVIDIA vapor chamber cooling technology surfaced last week. Cooling is an important aspect, as it improves the card performances.
Obviously, GigaByte's new offering is a great bargain for gamers and enthusiasts.

1) Has 512 CUDA cores
2) Is based on the Fermi architecture
3) Has support for high-speed 32x AA for smooth edges
4) Supports 3D Vision Surround for 3D gaming across multiple screens
