Micron, the makers of all types of memory products for PCs and other devices and uses, has unveiled a new NOR flash memory product for automotive applications that brings new 65nm NOR flash device ( 65nm process and a parallel interface that is compliant with automotive industry standards and meets all the flash memory requirements for components suitable for use in automobiles) to market. The NOR flash, a 512Mb flash drive is currently under testing and is due for mass production in 2011.
The new Micron Flash memory for automobiles will make it convenient for car builders to provide more interactive applications and features inside an automobile.
