Chinese military develops its first video war game

China may have expansionist policies, but the Chinese military has always lagged a bit behind in the area of war games—simulation games used to for the purpose of training new recruits -- at least, until now.

According to State media reports, China's Nanjing Military Region has recently finished their video game titled Glorious Mission (also translated as Mission of Honor).

Although foreign military games have been used in some Chinese armies' daily training,”; the need for a Chinese war game was always felt, for the foreign games have different concepts of values and military thoughts.

The completely Chinese-made Glorious Mission, looks pretty well-made, with Graphics definitely on par with at least the [Call of Duty] series, reports the State Media. Check out the demo of the Glorious Mission:
