Google Offers now available in Austin, Boston, DC, Denver and Seattle

In the deals market place, there is only one player which seems tpo be moving forward with its plans : Google. Contrary to Facebook who recently abandoned its daily deal venture(after just four months of testing), Groupon applying brakes on its plans for IPO, Google goes ahead (amidst reports of Deals market reaching a saturation point) with launching Google Offers, its daily deal service to five more US cities.

The new cities which are getting Google Offers service, still in beta, are Austin, Boston, DC, Denver and Seattle.

This takes the tally of the cities where Google Offers is available to a total of eight cities, with it already operating in Portland, New York City and San Francisco.

How to benefit from Google Offers:

Just visit www.google.com/offers, choose a city and subscribe (provided you already have a Google account). Android users can also register via the ‘Today’s Offer’ tab in the Google Shopper 2.0 app.

About Google Offers:

Google Offers is launched in June this year, has plans for a roll-out in another 27 cities across the US. Groupon, a rival is the current leader in the Deals market place. --------
