Gigabyte, a Taiwanese computer maker, is all set to revolutionize the laptop case design.
Gigabyte's X11,the 11.6-inch laptop, which the company says is the world’s first all-carbon-fiber notebook and courtesy its material weighs just over 2 pounds (975g), about 105 grams lighter than Apple’s 11.6-inch MacBook Air, is claimed to be the world's lightest Laptop.
Interestingly, Sony's 11.1-inch Vaio X is about a 400 gram lighter than Gigabyte X11 (the world is indeed funny).
Gigabyte X11 Specs:
Has an Ivy Bridge processor, a 128GB SSD, two USB 3.0 ports, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
Availability: Gigabyte X11 will be launched in July, at a price in between $999 and $1,299.
