What is the biggest challenge for NASA's 2018 Moon mission? A rover robot which can scale terrain on Moon and investigate the Moon surface effectively. Keeping this challenge in mind, NASA has created a couple of Moon rover robots , the latest of them is KRex robot. KRex an improved and bigger moon rover than its predecessor is remotely controlled , has four wheels which can be controlled individually. The KRex will be improved in coming years and aims for the moon in 2018.
