The Best Gear VR games apps experiences

Virtual Reality (VR) might still be in its infant stages, but that doesn't mean that it hasn't already made quite the splash in the industry.

The early leaders out the gate are the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and the Samsung Gear VR.The Vive and Gear are both mobile based while the Rift connects to your PC via USB.

Oculus Rift

The Rift was one of the first VR headsets on the market and has shown some incredible growth since its initial release. It's hard to describe the experience you get when you put on the lightweight headset. The field of vision allows players to rotate a full 180 degrees, which allows for very realistic game play.

Speaking of games, Rift has some really exciting games like Combat Air Patrol 2; it's a flight simulator like you've probably never experienced. The Rift has that amazing ability to change the way we see things. Online casinos will completely change the way players experience their games.

You can only imagine how much better playing online roulette is when using a Rift as opposed to a regular PC or mobile device.

HTC Vive

The HTC Vive is one of the most advanced VR's on the market; simply connect your HTC phone to the headset and your all ready to go. Unlike the Rift its wireless and therefore allows you to actually
walk and move around, which adds a whole new dimension to the gaming experience.

The headset is slightly heavier than the Rift, but I guess that’s the price you pay for being completely wireless. Because it is still new, there aren't as many games available. One of the most popular games is called Job Simulator: the 2050 Archives. It sounds like a dull game, you walk around the office and perform regular office tasks, but the game adds a lot of humor and challenges to the "work day" and takes advantage of all the amazing features that the Vive has to offer.

Samsung Gear

The Samsung Gear VR was designed to fit with Galaxy s6 and S6 Edge, and like the Vive it provides players with a truly wireless experience. The latest updates to the Gear headset include stronger foam
and improved head strap that improves the comfort level of the headset.

As far as pricing goes, the Gear comes at a fraction of the price and the quality of the VR experience reflects that. That being said, there are some really cool games for the Gear, like Smash Hit, where you walk through rooms and throw balls at glass windows and statues.
