iPhone 6 4.7 inch display For White and Black Models
A pic of an iPhone 6 screen assembly has surfaced. the pic is believed to be the final assembly for the upcoming iPhone 6 screen snapped from the iPhone 6 assembly line, for both the black and white iPhone 6 models. Here's the pic :

iphone 6, 4.7 inch, black iphone, white iphone,
iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch screen

The often rumored and widely anticipated iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch screen is said to be affixed to the front fascia. There's a larger home button cutout, supporting speculations of a revamped TouchID. There's a third hole at the top.

Some Apple news portals are point out the missing the electromagnetic shield — typically affixed to the rear of the screen. This they think points to one of the two things: the new design, or to make way for new features like NFC (where you tap two phones and transfer the data, Android has made NFC popular).

Recent rumors , close to September 09, 2014 launch of the 4.7 inch iPhone 6, point to the new iPhone display glass rounded toward the edges, melding right into the curved metal backing. he bezels (the path like boundary around the display) appears to have gone narrower too.

Apple is believed to unveil the newest 4.7-inch iPhone on September 9th, 2014 with release later in the month. The larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 version is believed to  come later in the year, perhaps in October alongside the iWatch.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha : Aluminium body, finger print reader, Galaxy S5 like Specs
One thing has been settled as far as premium smartphones are concerned. A smartphone which aesthetically looks premium has a metal body. If some of the leaks surfacing online are to be believed, then the Samsung Galaxy Alpha should bring a premium metal build to the Galaxy range. Samsung Galaxy Alpha will have a aluminium frame.

The photos which surfaced online show that the metal frame has a more squared look than the S5. The specs of Alpha are nearer to the Galaxy S5. One can see Alpha as the scaled down version of Galaxy S5. It is speculated to have a fingerprint reader but there's no sign of the heart rate monitor. It will still retain that faux leather rear plate though.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Alpha is rumoured to feature the same screen as the Galaxy S3. It will be 4.7-inches in size. This also mean a high resolution. The phone will have a 32GB storage capacity but no microSD expansion - perhaps it will be sealed like an iPhone. It should feature a nano-SIM and will come in an LTE-A 4G variant.

Rumours suggest the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will launch at the end of August.

Amazon Smartphone with retina-tracking 3D can arrive by June 2014
With its own Android based tablet, app store , you will ask what next for Amazon? An Amazon Smartphone. According to some credible sources, the much speculated about Amazon Smartphone can be launched by July 2014.

According to WSJ, there are real chances of the launch of Amazon smartphone by June.

According to WSJ, Amazon is currently busy showing off early prototypes of the device to developers in San Francisco and Seattle. After all the same developers will be developing apps for the smartphone and enrich the already rich Amazon app store with 200 thousand apps.

WSJ also corroborates earlier rumors of a 3D user interface on Amazon smartphone. The speculation was fueled by a patent that Amazon had filed for. However, according to some sources, instead of relying on the glasses-free 3D technology that Nintendo uses with its 3DS handheld console, Amazon will instead incorporate a retina-tracking technology in the front-facing camera to achieve a 3D, hologram-like effect.

On the OS front, the rumors are that Amazon will use a customised Android , as it used in its tablet the Amazon’s Kindle Fire.

It's becoming clearer that: If you are into Tablet business, or smartphone business ; you will need your own App ecosystem. If you have your own App store, you need to have your own device. If you lack one of the two, you lag behind in the race.
