Amazon Android Phone to be Unveiled on June 18...It's Official!

Gadget enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for the new Amazon android phone. They have filtered the web for any leaks, rumours for so long that the official announcement of the June 18 event, to launch the much anticipated Android smartphone on Amazon's site, has become a celebration itself. The teaser on the Amazon Homepage of the new Amazon android phone has increased the happy tension even more.




And interesting thing is, the event is not Press Only event. Amazon invites all of you, yes all of you to attend the event. All you have to do is Amazon’s homepage and click to register for an invitation. If you’re chosen, which will happen before June 12, 2014, then you’ll be able to travel to Amazon in Seattle, USA and see this new phone for yourself.

The anticipation for Amazon smartphone is not misplaced particularly after the ambitions of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and the success of the Amazon's Fire-branded Android devices -- Amazon Fire TV, the Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet. The Amazon eBook Reader is always there. All Amazon needs to make best use of its app ecosystem, Amazon Appstore for Android, and Android Appstore, is a smartphone.

The new Amazon smartphone will be an Android phone, There's not much known about the Use Interface. That's what Amazon has created to sit above the Google Android OS.

According to some rumours out there, the new amazon smartphone experience moves with the user. Apparently, there are sensors on the front of the phone that delivers a 3D experience of some kind. How and what, is not known right now. But since amazon is entering the smartphone market rather late, hence it can be assumed that the UI will be different from what competitors have rolled out so far. May be you can see some 3D bundled in a smartphone. Who knows.

Moto E Specs Leaked : Will be Mid-range at $250. Dual-Core CPU, 1GB RAM . Three versions : Single SIM, Dual SIM and One with Digital TV Support. 

Motorola’s upcoming Moto E specs in full details haev been leaked online. Moto E will be a modest dual-core processor smartphone with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of expandable storage . For that Motorola will charge you $250+ .

Don't compare it with Moto X flagship .

Going by the specs and the price Moto E is for economical Buyers.

The rumors about Moto E were doing rounds for some time now, at that time it was being called Motorola XT102X . Now we know it's Moto E.

HP unveils Slate 7: Its first Android tablet

HP, hours back, unveiled Slate 7: Its first Android tablet. The price of Slate 7 is $169, and will compete with entry level 7-inch tablets.

In 2011, HP's TouchPad tablet — based on Palm's webOS operating system—didn't able to make its mark in the market. Earlier HP experimented with Windows-based tablets, but with no success.

More recently, HP chose to be with Windows 8 with the ElitePad tablets(targeted at Business users) and the convertible Envy x2, a PC with a removable slate.

With Slate 7 (targeted at consumers), HP has entered into the Android market. Showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Slate 7 weighs 13-ounce (325 grams) and is arriving in U.S. in April.

Window 8- Tablet to beat iOS and Android

Will Microsoft be able to break Apple’s hold on the tablet space?  With the advent of Windows 8 it may be able to do so.

Desktop Familiarity

The ground running reason why the PC users will shift to Windows 8 tablet is because they are accustomed to Microsoft Operating System. Once you tap on the desktop interface, you’ll be greeted with the familiar interface. 

Undoubtedly, Android and iOS have user friendly interface, but Windows 8 is something out of box. There is no learning curve and you don’t have to fiddle here and there to learn about the operating system.

Data Transfer

Transferring files on Windows, Linux or Mac PC is a simple activity in the arena of personal computing. On an iPad there is no USB port and you have to carry a pen drive to transfer the files, which can be bit daunting task. In case of Android, the tablets proffer USB port; but you need an extra app known as file manager app to use it properly.

But with Windows 8-you can connect USB drive to the tablet and tap the notification to open the drive and copy the stuff from Drive C to Drive D.

Multi Tasking

Multitasking has become an essential ingredient. Microsoft Windows 8 is able to provide you an advantage of multi tasking with an approach that is better than IOS and Android.

When in a full screen with the Metro app, you can swipe the screen and open the other app instantly. It puts an original app in the mode of suspension, which in turn saves the battery.
