ZTE Quartz smartwatch is arriving your way. As per leaks and speculations online, the round dial ZTE smartwatch be revealed at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC), which starts on Feb. 27 in Barcelona, Spain. The smartwatch unveiling time is in line with wearable Venus 1 and Venus 2 activity tracking devices displayed in last year's MWC.

With the smartwatch, ZTE  will join the global smartwatch market, dominated by the likes of Apple Watch and Samsung Gear. It will also be ZTE's entry into the wearable tech market.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth, WiFi. Its round dial design is speculated to carry UMTS 3G cellular connectivity to complement its Wi-Fi radio. The user can make calls can be made and receive calls via the smartwatch. What will make the watch a hit will be features.

ZTE Quartz Smartwatch name, Compatibility

ZTE's 5.5 inch display smartphone running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS is already out in the market. The ZTE Smartwatch is likely to be compatible with devices running on Android 4.3 versions or later. It may also be compatible with iOS 8.2.

Sensitive Information Logic doesn't stand wrt Apple Watch... Apple Samrtwatch

In the last couple of days, many articles have surfaced online, advising prospective buyers, as to why they should not buy an Apple Watch. The points in support range from : A lot of sensitive data in the hands of the Tech Giant to lack of features to better choices already available.

I agree with the points related to features, choice and dated product; but I can't agree with "the lot of sensitive information in the hands of Apple".

The watch is dated (at least two years past its logical release), that's why it's understandable to avoid some product which is still at its early stages. As early adoption means waiting for months if not years to get the rough edges smoothed. Lack of features can be another issue, when you can buy a smart armband to track your body functions (something smartwatches are most pitched for). That too at a one fourth of the price of an Apple Watch. That apart a smart Wristband can be used with any smartphone. Thus I do agree with all these assertions.

I don't agree with the dilemma, whether one can afford giving Apple one's personal information or not. As it's the same target buyer of Apple Watch who is showing faith on Apple Pay. Apple Pay will have its hands on much more sensitive personal information. In addition, just like any other Apple product, Apple Pay is a disruptive concept. It can make a major change to how we pay electronically. Apple has earmarked a couple of billions to encourage retailers adopt Apple pay. If other payment methods go into oblivion, courtesy this incentive, then it can make us even more dependable on Apple.

The gadgets in our homes are increasing. But one thing even Geeks are often lazy about is recharging. A new tech gadget means a new gadget to recharge. And with wearable technology the new trend in the gadget world; wearable tech makers are particularly concerned about how to increase the 'need to recharge' duration of a gadget. The reflective LCD display will not require a backlight, which is where most of the power is being consumed. It relies on ambient light for visibility. It will show vivid colors even in bright sunlight.

Qualcomm Toq Smartwatch , which uses low energy Mirasol technology, which enables Toq to last a few days and up to a week on a single charge.

How Less will be the Need to Recgarge the JDI's Low Energy Display Smartwatch?

Unfortunately, the company has revealed it.

The JDI smartwatch will be in markets in November December Festive Season 2015.
