In its bid to rescue the negative sentiment in the domestic PC market, the Indian Government has cut 4% in cenvat (Central Value Added Tax).
This will result in 1-4% cut in branded PC prices (with pre-loaded Operating system)
But those who matter say that the price cut is not the direct result of the duty (tax) cut but is an expected move by the PC manufacturers and vendors, in order to contain the negative consumer sentiment.
It seems the prices will decrease further in coming months,So Delay your new PC purchase; as you may be paying less in near future.
